Lawrence W. Klein, D.O., FACOI

Dr. Klein, born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania, attended Penn State University then received his Medical Degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri.  He moved to Dayton for his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine, both at Grandview Hospital.  Subsequently, he completed a two year Fellowship in Nephrology and Hypertension at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Dr. Klein returned to Dayton after completing his Fellowship training in 1983, and entered into private practice.  He established the Division of Nephrology at Grandview Hospital and shortly thereafter he founded our group, Nephrology Associates of Dayton, Inc.  Dr. Klein served as Chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine and was a member of the Medical Executive Committee at Grandview Hospital and was awarded the Outstanding Faculty Award from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine.  Currently, he is the Medical Director for two dialysis facilities in the greater Dayton area, as well as serving as the President of Nephrology Associates of Dayton, Inc.
